The Book!!!

Last year, I had the exciting opportunity to photograph a cookbook for Esquire’s chef of the year, Barton Seaver. This was a labor of love and I couldn’t be more in awe with how it turned out. It arrives in stores everywhere on May 3rd! It’s over 300 pages of delicious recipes that are kind to the environment and your well being. Also, Barton’s new website was just launched this morning and it is just as beautiful as the book.

A huge thank you x a million to Carrie Anne from Anemone Design for not just making the process much easier but also putting together a book that we are beyond proud of.

Little Monster

It’s been a really long time since I posted a photo of Des…but here he is at 8 months and let me tell you-he is the biggest little monster around. This past week, he has eaten:

An entire cheesecake off the counter

A bag of Doritos from the college guys yard next door

A pair of Toms (that’s 4 pairs now he’s eaten!…he has ways of getting them)

A brand new light meter

2 rolls of paper towels

An entire bag of chicken jerky dog treats

Jack’s dinner….countless times

etc…

Patience is a virtue, right!?!

***Oh yes, I have been reminded of the curtains, two pairs of Rayban eyeglasses, a bar of 72% dark chocolate, a hole in the couch, and the rest I’m going to continue blocking out haha.***

Sweet, Sweet California

A little while ago I had the pleasure of flying out to California. It was the first trip in a long time when I was by myself. I had a little adventure and drove out to Santa Cruz which I fell in love with. I could definitely picture us living there in the years to come. Here are some photos from the four hours of free time that I had out there:
