Whether you have a dog, bird, cat, ferret, groundhog…animals hit a part of your life that makes living so much more fulfilling. They are what make us human. About two years ago, we adopted our first dog, Jack (who is pictured below) from the local SPCA as a tiny puppy. He was very sick and continues to require attention for certain health elements, but he has given me more than I can ever ask for. We may not fully understand one another but I do know that I love him and he loves me. Therefore, 100% of the funds from any family, child, or pet session goes directly to the Harrisonburg SPCA. The thought of animals being put down without so many people having felt their love is something I have a hard time dealing with.
